The Destination
Your base for the weekend will be cottage accommodation at Sandrif Holiday Resort, nestled beneath the towering sandstone cliffs and ancient rock formations that have made the Cederberg one of South Africa’s most iconic mountain destinations.

Return transport from Stellenbosch will be included for those who require it, making the entire experience completely hassle-free from start to finish.

Saturday: Wolfberg Cracks & Arch
On Saturday morning, guests will join a guided hike to one of the Cederberg’s most famous landmarks.
The route takes you through the legendary Wolfberg Cracks before emerging onto the plateau and continuing to the spectacular Wolfberg Arch.
It’s a journey through narrow sandstone passages, open mountain landscapes and dramatic viewpoints that showcase exactly why the Cederberg has earned its reputation among hikers and adventurers alike.
Sunday: Cycling to the Maltese Cross
Sunday morning shifts the focus from hiking to riding.
Guests will take part in a guided cycling experience to the iconic Maltese Cross, one of the most recognisable rock formations in the region.
The route offers an opportunity to experience the rugged terrain, open spaces and mountain scenery that make the Cederberg a paradise for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.
The First Look at Spring/Summer 2027
The weekend will also serve as the official launch of the Mountain Merchant Spring/Summer 2027 collection.
Guests will be among the very first people anywhere to see and experience the new range before it becomes publicly available.
The weekend will feature the debut of our highly anticipated Berghaus collection, alongside the latest summer cycling apparel and equipment from Endura, both available exclusively through Mountain Merchant.
